Erectile dysfunction (ED) is the inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse at least 25 percent of the time, according to the Mayo Clinic. Check your medications. Some blood pressure medications and diuretics are known to cause erectile dysfunction, and other medications could have similar side effects.
