This might sound silly, but many people have a bit of extra chub around their waist, even if they are skinny over the rest of their body. Luckily there are a few things you can do get rid of it.
Step Up Your Diet Game:
This means getting rid of all the unhealthy foods you’re still eating. This includes fast foods and other processed foods, refined carbohydrates, added sugar, fatty dairy like cream and butter. You should replace all of these with more fruits and veggies, lean meat and healthy whole grains.
Get Up and Go:
Just because you’re skinny doesn’t mean you don’t have to work out. If you are looking to burn fat, you should be doing a high intensity cardio routine, preferably interval training. Along with that, do some medium to heavy weight training in order to tone your muscles.
The link between stress and belly fat is a bugger called cortisol, which is known as the stress hormone. Try meditation or find something that relaxes you and helps you forget about your problems for a while. This helps lower cortisol levels and makes it easier to lose weight around your tummy.
Just on a side note, coffee can also increase cortisol levels, so you might want to cut back a bit.
