Answer: Yes. There is only one sort of exercise: the sort you DO.
This is the first secret of successful exercise.
You MUST choose a form of exercise you enjoy doing.
If you don’t enjoy it, you’ll quit before you can say ‘I’m a failure’.
If you don’t believe me, try it and see!
So focus your attention on MAKING EXERCISE FUN.
VERY SMALL EXAMPLE
If you enjoy dancing, then ask your partner to spend 15 minutes dancing with you, in the evening. Shake a leg, have a laugh!
Some people think that in order to exercise they need to dress up in expensive workout-wear and visit a gym. It isn’t true!!
Exercise is a lifestyle thing.
You need to make it a regular part of your life.
– Don’t send the kids to fetch something or walk the dog, if you can do it yourself.
– When shopping, don’t park the car right next to the store in order to minimize walking.
– When gardening, don’t leave the digging to someone else, have a go yourself.
– Hide the TV remote control.
I’m sure you can think of thousands of other ideas.
We have been brainwashed into thinking that an EASY life is a BETTER life.
So we tend to opt for LESS physical exercise.
It’s time to reverse this attitude.
Choose MORE physical exercise.
Every day. In every way.
You’ll lose weight, feel better and live longer.
